About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and technically proficient Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP (depending on your expertise). This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with 1-5 years of experience to become a key player in our cloud strategy and contribute to a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions based on best practices.
- Configure and manage virtual machines, containers, and serverless technologies.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Optimize cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and performance.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and other IT professionals.
Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of experience in cloud computing with a major platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture concepts and best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
- Certifications in relevant cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Cloud Engineer).
